Cristi Maetani serves as Assistant Director of International Student and Scholar Services, helping students and visiting scholars maintain lawful status for more than 15 years. Cristi obtained both her undergraduate (International Studies) and graduate (MPA) degrees from BYU. She served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sapporo, Japan. She loves working at International Services and especially enjoys getting to know the students and learning about their home countries and cultures. When students praise their home country, she is easily convinced that it must be the most wonderful country in the world.
