Vanessa Ocana has been an international advisor at International Student Services since August 2012. She advises students whose last names begin with L-O and assists them in maintaining their legal status. Vanessa graduated from the University of Utah in Applied Linguistics. She also graduated from BYU and received her MA in TESOL.
Previously, Vanessa was an instructor at the University of Utah and taught writing classes to international undergraduate students and research classes to graduate international students. Vanessa served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Los Angeles, California
