Tax Assistance

Tax Workshops

Come to one of the tax workshops to start preparing your tax return with guidance. You will need to have the required documents ready to make use of the workshops. The tax workshops are for non-residents and are facilitated by certified volunteers.

Before coming to the workshops, make sure you are a non-resident for tax purposes and that your situation falls within the scope of our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) lab. See the Overview page if you're not sure.

VITA Lab Assistance

If you already attended one of the tax workshops above and/or have started preparing your tax return but need more help, you can attend one of the VITA lab sessions. Please come having started your tax return and done as much as you can, since resources are limited and we can't walk everyone through starting and completing their individual tax return.

Before coming to the VITA lab, ensure you have the required documents ready.

VITA lab sessions are walk-in only on a first-come, first-served basis. No one-on-one scheduled appointments available.
